Kukkutanda Sweda is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that is used to alleviate joint pain and stiffness. In this therapy, the yolk of a chicken egg is combined with specific medicinal herbs that possess pharmacological and therapeutic properties. These herbs have the ability to relieve pain, inflammation, and stiffness, and can also rejuvenate and strengthen the joints and soft tissues.
Kati Basti is a therapeutic treatment for lower back pain, stiffness, and inflammation. In this treatment, a generous amount of herbal oils are applied to the back and then retained there for a specific period of time. The warm herbal oil gets absorbed into the muscles, ligaments, and tendons, providing relaxation to the back and healing any underlying conditions that may be causing pain and stiffness. The treatment not only soothes the back but also helps in de-stressing the entire body.
In this Ayurvedic treatment, specifically medicated oils are poured and pooled over the neck or nape of the neck (the backside of the neck) and are left for a fixed duration of time in a compartment or cabin constructed using wet flour of black gram, covering the cervical region. This process helps to relieve occasional neck pain and inflammation, heals past injuries, inflammation and recurring neck pain, gently and effectively. It also improves flexibility.

Hrid Basti is an Ayurvedic treatment that focuses on both the physical and emotional aspects of the heart. In this treatment, a reservoir made of organic flour is placed over the sternum. Warm, medicated herbal oils are then poured inside, allowing the healing benefits of the oils to concentrate on the area where they're needed most. This treatment is effective in pacifying aggravated Vata dosha in the chest region, relieving deep-seated, repressed stress, anger, and grief. Additionally, it nourishes and strengthens the cardiac muscles, thus rejuvenating the heart.
Netra Tarpana is a procedure where lukewarm medicated ghee is kept stagnant in the eyes for a specified time in a specific frame. This therapy is quite beneficial for relaxing the eyes and treating various ailments related to the eyes. It balances Vata and Pitta doshas, improves vision, removes dark circles under the eyes, revitalizes and rejuvenates tired, dry, rough, and injured eyes, strengthens the nerves and muscles of the eyes. It also helps with eye strain due to constant glaring of the computer or television screen, eye strain due to precision job like jewellery designing, long-distance drive, and prevents the formation of cataracts.
Thalapothichil is an Ayurvedic treatment that involves covering the scalp with an Ayurvedic herbal paste. These are Ayurvedic medicines that penetrate deep into the scalp and nourish the central nervous system. It uses the true Ayurvedic approach to internal healing.
